Producing E81T1 gas-shielded flux-cored wire requires precise mechanical execution and automated process controls. Our production systems are configured to process steel strips from initial coil preparation down to the finalized packaged wire, maintaining strict control over the filling ratio of the internal flux core.
Standard carbon steel strips are slit into precise widths using our Low carbon steel strip slitting machine. The strips then pass through our Steel strip ultrasonic type cleaning machine to remove dynamic oils, oxides, and surface residues. High weld performance requires a clean steel substrate prior to powder filling.
The chemical formulation of the core dictates the performance of the E81T1 wire. Our Flux powder mixing machine ensures a homogeneous dry mixture of elements. The steel strip is formed into a U-shape by our Steel strip forming machine with butt seam & overlap type, and the flux powder is dynamically metered and filled into the U-channel.
The formed strip is completely closed, creating either a butt seam or an overlapped structure. The closed wire is then processed through our Welding wire straight type drawing machine. This system employs High-Quality Drawing Dies & Rolling Cassettes to draw the wire down to target diameters (typically 1.2mm, 1.4mm, or 1.6mm) without compromising the internal core density.
