1. Strip Slitting and Ultrasonic Cleaning Phases

To produce high-quality cored wires, cold-rolled steel strips must undergo dynamic slitting and ultrasonic cleaning processes. Contaminants, residual oils, and dust on the steel strip surface can deteriorate the weld pool properties, causing porosity and cracking. Our ultrasonic cleaning lines dynamically strip oil and impurities off the band prior to the forming phase.

The low-carbon slitting line splits the wide structural coils into exact narrower bands (max 15 segments) with minimal edge burrs. This dimensional accuracy prevents powder spill-over during the seam closure phase.

2. Powder Mixing and Precise Dosing

Reducing the cored wire to its final calibration size (e.g., 1.2mm, 1.6mm) requires precise cold-drawing mechanics. Traditional capstans can twist cored wires, leading to powder movement inside the wire. Beijing Orient Pengsheng straight-line drawing machines eliminate this twist, using individual PLC-controlled motors for each block to manage backward tension.

4. Precision Winding and Packaging

For high-speed robotic welding applications, spool spooling must be smooth and snag-free. Our CE-certified high-precision layer winding machines use responsive servo-controlled traversal guides. This ensures every layer is wound side-by-side with zero overlap anomalies. For bulk usage, our drum/pail packaging systems pack the wire cleanly into drums.
