View Technical DetailsAlgeria is currently executing historic infrastructure expansions, highlighted by massive investments in the Sonatrach hydrocarbon infrastructure, natural gas pipeline expansions, steel construction mills (like Tosyali Algeria and AQS Bellara), and localized automotive assembly plants in Oran and Algiers. High-quality welding consumable manufacture is transitioning rapidly from import-dependence to localized, self-sufficient production.
Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) has become the gold standard in North African heavy engineering, shipbuilding, and petrochemical piping. Producing premium FCAW wires requires precision-engineered machinery to control strip forming, chemical flux composition, and micro-drawing tolerances. Orient Pengsheng provides the custom-designed solutions necessary to transform local raw steel strip rolls into premium flux cored wires conforming directly to AWS, EN, and ISO international standards.
Founded in 2011 with roots extending over 20 years in high-performance metallurgy, Beijing Orient Pengsheng Tech. Co., Ltd. has established itself as an elite global authority in flux cored welding wire manufacturing technology. Supported by European technical cooperators and robust domestic innovation, we possess unique proprietary know-how and advanced manufacturing facilities to deliver next-generation FCW production lines.
We do not merely supply machines; we deliver complete turnkey factories. Our project lifecycle integration spans from raw materials analysis to chemical powder formulation, steel strip slitting, high-speed drawing, layer winding, and protective packaging. To date, Orient Pengsheng has supplied over 150 turnkey production lines to more than 10 countries worldwide, cementing our status as a trusted manufacturing partner.
A deep look into the metallurgy process and precise mechanical steps performed by Orient Pengsheng turnkey production systems.
Low-carbon steel strips are slit to target widths. The strips then pass through our high-power ultrasonic cleaning systems, removing industrial oil and surface rust. This step guarantees pristine steel surfaces prior to flux powder loading, avoiding internal wire contamination.
Flux powder is formulated, mixed homogeneously, and dried inside computerized ovens. The steel strip is progressively formed into a U-shape channel, where the powder is continuously fed. The strip is then closed into a tubular profile via progressive vertical cassettes.
The filled wire profile undergoes successive diameter reductions. By utilizing our straight-line drawing machines integrated with high-efficiency rolling cassettes, we achieve a highly consistent density of flux powder distribution and uniform wall thickness down to 1.2mm or 1.6mm.
Why sourcing your complete industrial line from Orient Pengsheng Beijing represents the highest ROI and strategic operational security.
Leveraging China's world-leading heavy machinery industrial clusters, Beijing Orient Pengsheng Tech guarantees highly reliable parts integration. From high-grade electrical components (Siemens, ABB, Schneider) to heavy-duty casting bases, our assembly lines operate with minimized supply chain disruption risks.
We provide full technical support for our Algerian partners. Our field engineers handle foundation layout design, installation supervisions, electrical testing, and on-site operator training directly in French, Arabic, or English to bridge operational gaps quickly.

Our production lines are highly versatile. They can produce rutile-type wires (such as E71T-1 for general-purpose high-speed structural fabrication), basic-type wires (such as E71T-5 for superior low-temperature impact toughness), and hardfacing/metal-cored wires. The choice depends on the specific powder mix and strip thickness utilized.
We use high-precision vibrating volumetric feeders or gravimetric dosing systems coupled with a PLC closed-loop control system. If the line speeds up, the powder feed rate adjusts dynamically to maintain the targeted filling ratio (typically between 15% and 28% of total wire weight) within a strict tolerance of +/- 0.5%.
Standard industrial power in Algeria is 380V, 50Hz, 3-phase. All our motor control centers, Siemens/ABB PLCs, variable speed drives, and auxiliary heaters are custom-configured and tested at our factory for these exact electrical settings before export to prevent transformer complications.
We utilize straight-line wire drawing machines powered by frequency-variable AC motors with individual dancer arm feedback loops. This ensures zero slipping on the capstans. Together with high-precision rolling cassettes and tungsten carbide drawing dies, we minimize mechanical strain, reducing wire breakages to near-zero levels even at maximum design speeds.
The standard lead time for a complete turnkey production line is 2 to 3 months, depending on the levels of customization required. Shipping from Tianjin or Shanghai port to Algiers or Oran Port takes roughly 30 to 45 days. Our installation engineering team is ready to travel immediately after the equipment arrives at your facility.
Our standard payment term is a 30% deposit in advance by TT, and the remaining 70% balance paid via irrevocable Letter of Credit (L/C) or TT against the presentation of Bill of Lading (B/L) copy. All machinery includes a 12-month comprehensive warranty from the date of commissioning, excluding standard wear-and-tear parts like drawing dies and blades.
