Premium grade components engineered to meet stringent CE regulations and optimized for Serbian metal fabrication workshops and high-capacity manufacturing centers.
A comprehensive whitepaper on manufacturing requirements, technological shifts, and regional market trends.
As the cornerstone of infrastructure and manufacturing in Southeastern Europe, Serbia has witnessed a massive revitalization of its industrial sectors. In cities such as Belgrade, Novi Sad, Smederevo, and Kragujevac, infrastructure projects, automotive manufacturing, and shipbuilding require high-yield, superior-strength structural joining solutions. This economic push has accelerated the transition from conventional solid MIG/TIG wires to Flux Cored Welding Wires (FCW).
Flux Cored Wire offers a significant advantage in deposition rate, arc stability, and penetration depth. However, local production of this high-tech consumable requires sophisticated machinery capable of maintaining tight tolerances in powder-filling consistency, wire ovality, and strip drawing speeds. Beijing Orient Pengsheng Tech Co., Ltd., leveraging over two decades of technical expertise, has developed specialized turnkey production lines designed to meet the rigorous production standards of Eastern European markets.
The heavy-industry cluster in Serbia, spearheaded by large steel mills, railway infrastructure development (such as the Belgrade-Budapest high-speed link), and energy projects, operates in diverse environmental conditions. Unlike solid wires, which require clean shielding environments, gas-shielded and self-shielded flux cored wires operate reliably in field conditions and high-wind environments typical of large structural erections. To supply this demand locally, Serbian wire factories are upgrading their equipment to incorporate:
Under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and Free Trade Agreement (FTA) signed between China and Serbia, industrial cooperation has accelerated. Beijing Orient Pengsheng Tech Co., Ltd. serves as an engineering partner, combining advanced, cost-effective manufacturing capabilities with European-inspired mechanical engineering. This relationship ensures that Serbian factories receive high-speed forming mills and straight-line drawing equipment at competitive capital expenditures, coupled with local on-site commissioning and long-term supply chain security for spare parts like drawing dies and rolling cassettes.
Beijing Orient Pengsheng Tech. Co., Ltd. was established in 2011. However, we have more than 20 years of experience with flux cored welding wire manufacturing machines. An overview of the continuous processing stages integrated into our high-capacity production lines.
Each component is fully synchronized via a central PLC bus control, allowing for unified speed adjustment, tension regulation, and precise tracking of wire parameters.
The heart of the flux cored welding wire line is the steel strip forming and powder feeding stage. A steel strip is continuously slit to the desired width, chemically cleaned, and then formed into a U-shape by a series of forming rolls. The proprietary powder-feeding unit distributes the mixed flux powder into the U-shaped channel with high precision.
To ensure stability in welding performance, the filling ratio deviation must be kept below ±0.2%. Our line achieves this through electronic scale feedback loops and advanced powder vibration mechanisms. Following filling, the strip is progressively closed, either through an overlap seam or a butt seam, ensuring no powder leaks occur during subsequent drawing passes.
Once closed, the wire is reduced to intermediate and final diameters (typically from 4.0mm down to 1.2mm or 0.8mm) using high-efficiency straight-line drawing machines. Instead of conventional dies, Beijing Orient Pengsheng integrates high-performance rolling cassettes for the initial drawing passes.
Rolling cassettes reduce friction, minimize lubricant consumption, and lower mechanical stress on the wire, which is crucial for preventing the seam from cracking or opening. Tension control between blocks is monitored continuously via high-resolution dancers, maintaining stable wire speed and avoiding breakages.
To achieve low hydrogen and high-purity weld metal, any residual slitting oil or surface rust on the steel strip must be removed before powder filling. Our inline ultrasonic cleaning machine uses multi-frequency transducers and hot air drying zones to ensure that the strip is completely clean, ensuring high-quality results.
